  Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30 1991), better known by his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is a popular American rapper, singer and songwriter. He is also a record producer. The stage name he uses is the name of his favorite uncle, paired with the first name of one of his idols, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major-label contract with Epic Records and a publishing deal with Kanye West's GOOD Music. Scott signed a joint-recording contract with Epic and T.I.  T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first full-length album, Owl Pharaoh (1983), was self-released. In 2013 Scott self-released the mixtape Owl Phaoh. A follow-up mixtape called Days Before Rodeo was released in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first studio album. It included the smash song "Antidote". His second album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) achieved the first Billboard 200 top 100 album. In the next year, Scott released a collaborative album with Quavo called Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho under the name group Huncho Jack.In 2018 the third album, Astroworld, was released to acclaim from critics and also produced the debut Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Sicko Mode" (featuring Drake). Scott's Cactus Jack Records release the compilation album JackBoys in late 2019. This album topped the Billboard 200. Following his hit single "Franchise", which featured Young Thug and M.I.A., Scott was successful in releasing the compilation album JackBoys. Scott was the first artist on The Hot 100 to have three songs make it to the top of the charts within a year.
